Day 5 & 6 Update
Estes Park, Colorado - On Day 5, we headed from New Mexico to Estes Park, CO. We drove for a long time this day - through Denver (saw Mile High Stadium!) We stopped in Cripple Creek, CO to take a mine tour. The mine tour was really interesting and fun - we went down a shaft below ground for 1,000 feet, then we were lead into the pit and mine shaft and followed the guided tour. On Day 6, we rented a car to drive into/around the Rocky Mountain National Park. This park reminds us of Alaska, but not as big. The park was breath-taking, we saw over 100 elk, 10 Big-Horned sheep, Yellow marmots, Picas, etc. The elk were amazing. Hope everyone is having a good time following this! I will post some pictures from a couple days ago. More will be uploaded when we get a better wi-fi connection.
